Supporting You With...
Supporting individuals with a variety of nutrition concerns, I employ a non-diet, all-foods-fit approach rooted in compassion, empathy, and curiosity.
 Eating Disorder RecoveryÂ
Believing that full recovery is possible for everybody, Emily works closely with her clients to realign their values and behaviors through individual nutrition support. Emily works collaboratively with all members of the care team and empowers her clients to develop skills that support a lasting recovery from their ED. Areas of expertise: Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, Avoidant/Restrictive Intake Disorder (ARFID), Other Specified Feeding or Eating Disorder (OSFED)
 Sports Nutrition & PerformanceÂ
Whether you are a recreational athlete or competing at an elite level, Emily works with athletes and dancers to understand their unique nutritional needs, how to fuel their body optimally and cultivate an appreciation for the amazing things their body can do. With the lived experience of competing at an elite level of Irish dancing, Emily understands the high demands of athletes and dancers, providing tailored guidance on how to enhance performance through nutrition and promote proper recovery.
 Disordered EatingÂ
Emily utilizes a non-diet approach and Intuitive Eating framework to help clients detach from disordered thoughts and behaviors. All too often, the diet and weight-focused culture in which we live frequently applauds disordered eating behaviors as commendable actions, all under the guise of "health." Emily helps individuals remove moralistic thinking around food and ultimately find food freedom through neutralization, exposure, and intentional reconnection to the joy of eating.
 General Nutrition & WellnessÂ
Recognizing that true health is achieved through sustainable, balanced practices rather than restrictive measures, Emily guides clients toward self-directed, mindful eating that nourishes both the body and mind. Understanding that there is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to nutrition, Emily takes time to understand each individual's unique lifestyle and health context. Emily provides individually tailored recommendations and resources, enabling her clients to adopt health-promoting behaviors that improve overall well-being.
How It Works
During this free 15-20 minute discovery call, we'll talk about your specific nutrition concerns and what you're looking to accomplish through nutrition counseling. I will share more about what to expect in working with me and answer any questions, allowing us to both determine if we are good fit
Initial Session
During this 60-75 minute session, we will take a deep dive into your comprehensive medical and nutrition history, treatment history (if applicable), current eating patterns, and individual goals. Together, we'll discuss a personalized roadmap that aligns with your unique needs and establish an appropriate frequency of follow-up sessions to support you in achieving your goals.
Follow-Up Care
Includes 45-minute follow-up sessions where we'll reflect on your progress towards your short and long-term goals, discuss barriers to change, and celebrate wins along the way. Additionally, you will have access to limited email support with Emily between sessions and your dietitian will collaborate care with other members of your healthcare team (where applicable).
